Syllabus and Exam pattern
CPT is an objective type exam with the following subjects.
Accountancy - 60 marks
Law - 40 marks
Maths & Statistics - 50 marks
Economics - 50 marks
Duration of exam is four hours which will be in two sessions.
Morning session - two hours for Accountancy and Law (100 marks)
Afternoon session - two hours for Maths/Statistics and Economics (100 marks)
Students should obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate & 30% marks for each subject separately. There should be 200 questions each carries one mark. Negative mark of 0.25 will be charged for each wrong answer.
